NEAR THE NIKE HEAD QUARTERS IN BEAVERTON, OREGON, SAUVIE ISLAND COFFEE BEGAN ROASTING COFFEE IN SMALL BATCHES IN 2007.
Sauvie Island Coffee shop is all about supporting our local community and embracing the city of Beaverton. Ninety percent or more of our coffee that we roast is hand delivered to our great partners within a 50 mile radius of our flagship location. We believe in environmental, social and economic stewardship, and maintaining a local focus, all while providing Beaverton's best coffee to our customers and neighbors.

 

Our Roasting Process

We carefully roast all of our coffees in small batches. We feel that by removing the automation aspect of modern large-scale roasters, we are able to give our attention to the drying, development and finishing stages of the roasting process to ensure the best possible result in the cup.

Our Espresso Nectar Blend and Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee have received Silver Medal & Bronze Medals at the Golden Bean North America Roasting Competition in 2017 & 2018.

Named after Sasquatch's albino cousin, this drink features expertly blended Espresso Nectar and steamed milk (or substitute), mixed with Ghirardelli white chocolate, coconut and hazelnut syrups.
